More Photography

A few more Images which I took Whilst in Berlin, some from east side gallery and others from the streets of berlin, May of the images show political or religious undertones. These photos are once again unedited. Some of the images are very famous, such as this one blew by Banksy and another by the Graffiti group Blu.

The idea which i have based my theory of practice booklet on is wether Graffiti should be considered as or or as a crime. when visiting the berlin wall i noticed that there were many pieces of work which typically would be considered as fine art, they looked like they had been done in acrylic, however they had been done in spray pain and therefore they were considered as graffiti rather than art. The difference between the use of materials used and where it is placed, is the difference between wither it is crime or art.

After visiting berlin in April I decided I wanted to include it within my context of practice work, I found visiting the berlin wall so interesting and visually intriguing, After writing about subcultures in my essay i though it would be interesting to look at subcultures which formed from events surrounding the berlin wall, as i part of this i have also looked into Graffiti as it plays such a huge role in bringing together two subcultures which wee formed because of the berlin wall.
