Oh Deer
Oh deer was founded by Jamie Mitchell and Mark Callaby and was launched in November 2011. The two have backgrounds in creative industries, Jamie in Architecture, and Mark in Illustration. During the lead up they figured out which direction they wanted to take the brand, and hand picked the Illustrators they wanted on board to create it with them.
Above all things, the brand aims to be fresh. There are increasing number of companies who produce the same recipe of ‘ordinary’. Ohh Deer wanted to take the work of exceptional illustrators and create something extraordinary, objects that everyone can adorn their houses with, or pop in the post for a friend’s birthday. we promise to continue finding and producing work that you will love for one reason or another, be it through ungodly cuteness or obscene vulgarity.
The website is full of quirky colourful and illustrative Work, from Cushions, to Greetings cards and T shirts, I wanted to look at this website as the audience which I am aiming my greetings cards will be similar to the audience which ill view this website and buy these products.
The website has several different illustrators and designers work on it and many different products, All the illustrators are very different in what they do, some do purely illustration and some do multimedia based work, however all have a fun/playful feel about them.
