The Toffee Factory CONTENT

I wanted to use a space which really existed within
Event space

Toffee Factory’s 5 metre high event space can seat 70 people theatre-style and can be used for talks, exhibitions, training events, seminars, functions and board meetings for up to 25 people. The event space has a fixed projector which projects directly onto the white wall, a portable projector, flatscreen TV and DVD player are also available if required.
The event space is available for hire to external parties with rates for morning, afternoon, all-day or evening sessions. We’ll arrange all of your food and drinks requirements for you and ensure your event goes smoothly.
We will also work to support events by providing the space in kind or at a subsidised rate where the event directly benefits the local creative sector or the Ouseburn Valley.
See Toffee Factory’s Flickr page for more photos of the event Space.

GLASSHOUSE ARCH

With the top of the building attached to Glasshouse Bridge, taking city traffic high across the Ouseburn, Toffee Factory’s ground floor has two majestic sheltered arches of its own:  one provides access to our service vehicles and the other is our own pocket venue, a stunningly illuminated all weather installation, performance or pop-up event space. We’re open to all ideas and so long as its creative and of interest to our wider community, we’ll try to help you make it happen here.

Toffee Factory is a beautifully refurbished new building providing high quality, contemporary serviced office space for a range of digital and creative businesses, from start-ups in a shared workspace to larger offices for established companies.
Thoughtfully designed by local architects xsite, and furnished with both design classics and locally produced furniture and art work, it is an inspiring and stunning place to work. Located in the heart of The Ouseburn area of Newcastle adjacent to the Quayside, it is within walking distance of the City Centre and Railway Station with good transport links by road and a frequent local bus, the Q2, dropping off near the door.
