The first piece of Graphic design was designed for Bauhaus in Germany between 1919 and 1928, its from the modern era, you can tell this because it uses strong bold colours, such as Red and Black, it uses geometric shapes and Simple but experimental type. It also uses photography which at the time was a new technique and so Designers and Artists used it in posters and Art work.
The second piece of Graphic design is from the postmodern period its by Jamie Reed, you can tell that it is from this period as it is has a underlying mocking tone to it, it takes the mick out of modern design. The design is also highly controversial as it is originally an image of the queen with newspaper writing over the top of it which is also experimental.
